The Tamari Foundation nurtures the young generation through individual scholarships, endowment funds and educational programs.
It also provides grants to fund the construction or renovation of educational facilities.

To date the Tamari Foundation has offered over 200 scholarships in major local and international universities to deserving and needy students.

Endowment Funds

The Tamari Foundation has created endowment funds at the American University of Beirut (AUB) and at the Lebanese American University (LAU). The Foundation has also established a scholarship fund with LIFE Lebanon.

Building Schools

In 1974, the Tamari family financed the construction of the “Wahbe Tamari Kindergarten” in Jordan. In keeping with this vision, the family contributed to the construction of the Tamari Building, School of Business at the University of Balamand, Lebanon in 2001. In 2018, the Tamari Foundation continued this vision by supporting the Imbuto Foundation in building an Early Childhood Development (ECD) center in the remote area of Rutsiro, Rwanda.

Education Programs

The Tamari Foundation has supported the vocational training and access to employment program of the Institut Européen de Coopération et de Développement (IECD) in Lebanon since 2011. At the SEP-Tamari Foundation Academy in Jordan, over 100 artists are trained in the art of artisanal needlework every year. The Foundation also supports educational initiatives for children with learning difficulties.
